Indicator help please.

After my exhaust melting my rhs rear indicator, I have fitted some small budget halfords jobs.

Strangely they dont want to work... When switched on the right one makes an amusing spoing noise before flashing. Albeit faster than usual. The lhs just goes spoing and they Indys light but don't flash - this also occurs when fitting the new front Indys as well...

Any ideas? Have a feeling it's something to do with voltage...

Could be,......all the indic lamps need to be 12v-10w for the std flasher unit to work correctly.You can still get 6v indicators,so double check the voltage and also the wattage of the lamps.
