You could go the new unit route. They are expensive though. No dealer required, just a Specific key insertion sequence. A used unit won’t help you unless it has keys with it as you can’t recode them without at least one original key. 90% of the problems with the unit is dry Solder joints, so if it were me I would cut it open and re solder the joints and then seal it with silicone etc. Chances are it will fix it.
