It could also be read the exact way I typed it out. I have a very real problem and clearly many other people are going through the same ****. God forbid we post the solution on a forum.. That would just make too much sense.. So instead we have to jump through all these hoops hoping someone will message you back on a year old thread.I haven’t been able to ride my DD since August because I refuse to pay the dealership a grand when I see all these posts of people saying **** like “not too smart to tell you how to do that on a public forum, but let me message you telling you exactly how even though I have no idea who you are”I’m seriously so fed up with aprilia at this point. My dorso is my favorite bike that I’ve ever owned and when I lost the key to it I was heartbroken. Then just to sweeten things up a bit I call the closest authorized aprilia dealership to me which is about 300 miles away, all they can tell me is that I need to replace my ecu, my lock set and my dashboard for $980. **** that. I’m losing respect for the name. Lesson learned, when you buy a used bike and it only comes with one key.. Make a copy for $30 instead of $1,000. I even spoke with the president of Aprilia and he couldn’t give 2 ***** less about my situation, as long as his company is getting money, customer satisfaction is out the window. Some one please help me.
