A word of warning if anyone is thinking of replacing decals on there rsv (in particular the diablo black and red scheme) if you are putting them along side originals, then dont! Twice i have orderd replacement decals from the image works and twice they dont match the origionals, size, shape etc. Even though on both occasions i sent pictures of the exact decals i was after. Its not worth the hastle trust me. Rant over!

Mate.................i am with you 100%!! Had an absolute nightmare with iamge works too. Not good!!

Too late. Sent two panels to them, one replacement with faded decals and my original crash damaged panel for them to match up. I'll post the results when they arrive.

I imaging you will have a better result as they will be able to see for themselves that there replacement dosent exactly match your origional an will probably alter to get it right, but getting them to send them out is a no-no.

Well, got them back. Done a good job, shading slightly different, but to be fair Aprilia's own panels vary in colours. The replacement top fairing I got, is slightly different to vthe original. Only sure way of ensuring a match would be a full respray which is out of my reach. £60 for all the graphics fitted, which I thought was reasonable compared with the prices from Aprilia.

I did think you would get better results from sending the panels to them. I tried chalkies to no avail, he email'd back saying that he cant exactly match the colours. Just waiting on a reply from the other recomendation now.

That's the problem. Imagework said they'd match it best they could. The lions head sticker is slightly darker than the original. A full respray the only answer especially with it being silver. I should imagine the darker coulours maybe easier to match.

Ok, so pittys told me they cant do them either. Went to aprilia dealers and asked and for the two small decals im after and was informed it would cost me around £350 as i would have to buy whole front and side set. What a joke! What the hell do other people do when there rsv has been down the road?

the decals will fade over time lads thats probably part of the issue...

i do you image works and have found them helpful everytime!

100% recommended here too.....his work is top notch

hi guys, thanks for the recommendation, but i dont like to replicate oe decals that are still available due to copyright.... they could have my pants down!! (im shocked that other companies do this) also i only work with bold vinyl, and the colour range is not great when looking for a certain shade... hence why i try to stick to custom designs... sorry for all you oe lovers... but mr dealer it is.. :) but if you do want a custom replica fitting to your bike.... then yeah im happy to help... u can check out my work at www.chalkiesdecals.co.uk or via facebook
