Im away on sunday to spain on prilly.............yipppeeeeeee cant wait spinning gayness

its my first trip in europe on this bike so i hope its gunna be good......no breakdowns lol
mountain roads need riding
any how just thought i would say as im all

I assume your catching the Plymouth - Santander Ferry?

Have a good trip - Liz & I have done the Spanish mountain roads for the last 7 or so years now - we sail 22nd June.

Where are you headed for? Picos Europa? The Panes-Potes road N621 is an absolute peach, pretty much all of the roads around Potes are brilliant. If you are going this way have a run south of Potes through Riano - over the reservoir, brilliant road, and some fantastic "hairpins" just after the reservoir - they are huge 100mph plus heaven.

Or are you headed over to the Pyrenese? Lots of good roads, but also some *****. the road surfaces get badly hammered by the winter weather, so don't get too brave on blind bends.

Whichever way you go you will have a blast. The Ferry is a good one, and the crew are pretty good at strapping the bikes down. I think we have sailed on the Pont Avon about 12 times now, never had a bad trip........:)
 
Batfastard...yep going from plymouth,rode through france last time in to spain trying it this way.....we will be in pyreenes mainley, so many roads to choose ! .
