I'm a numpty (forks)

My bike has fallen down its fork legs n cant get back up, any 1 have any ideas on how to lift this beast.

I have an Abba stand but no fixings for an RSV if anyone has some they would like to lend or sell Thumb up i need to get sorted by tommorow thats all.

LOL, I hang my bike from the shed roof by ratchet straps to work on suspension and wheels.
I loop the front strap under the front of the frame behind the bottom fork yoke making sure no wires get trapped. :thumbup

I had the same prob once.
Simple solution to a seemingly impossible situation! :devious If they've only gone a little too far, I nipped up the bolts hand tight, pulled on the top yoke with one hand while tapping the fork leg down using a soft hammer (copper, hide or wood, not sledge hammer!). Fork leg pushed through yoke a few mm at a time to desired level, easy peasy.:thumbup

if you have a garage with trusses sling a ratchet strap over and lift the weight of the front of bike and use a rubber mallet to hit the forks

If you have a mate then get them to balance the bike on the side stand by leaning it over to the left and press down on the rear seat. The front end will lift off the floor and you'll be able to reset the fork legs.

Make sure they are a good mate and not a 7 stone weed. LOL

Thanks all, managed to find a mate with a decent ratchet stap, worked a treat, allthough had to fix it to a skinny bracket my landlord fitted to hang his punchbag, don't think I dare do it again
