Idle on one cylinder?

Hi all I have a lovely 2000 rsv but it's not been well recently. It wouldn't start recently and after looking at the plugs changed them. Now it starts but idles Lumpy. Gap is 0. 64mm.
I can disconnect both coils on the left and it makes no difference to idle at all! If the left bank are attached and I remove one from the right idle drops a little, if I remove both it stops. I've checked I have a spark from both spark plugs on the left. I'm thinking I have a fuel or carb sync problem. I'm surprised it can start in one cylinder at all. Any advice on where to go next would be much appreciated :)

Play with tb's there are bypass screws the big brass ones

But sounds like you need your tb's set up by someone who knows what they are doing

You were right Redratbike. I made a rough and ready manometer to balance things up with the big brass screws and it's idling smoothly now. They were miles off and the idle adjust was set really high. The pressure is even now and the idle control is virtually on zero. Front brass screw is 1. 5 and rear is 1.75 turns. I'll have to get the bike set up properly but at least I think it's in the right ball park now. Disconnecting even one coil on either side makes a noticeable but similar difference now. How on earth it could start and Idle on one cylinder I'll never know. Starts so much better now too.
Just a couple more jobs to do and I can take it out for a test ride!
Thanks for your help :)
