Alright guys ... i have seen the light ... i was knocked off my bike a couple of weeks back after owning it for about 3 weeks ... instead of being bitter about it i have decided to make it my life ambition to make something really special out of it.

so im gonna start myself a project to rebuild the mille and really make a stunner out of the old girl.

Im after as many ideas on anything from performance mods, chassis adaptations to paint work and anything inbetween.

even if its a little crazy n slightly outa the ball park all ideas will be considered

please help me out as i am crap in the creativity side of things lol

theres a few guys on here that have updated the body work of their gen 1s and they look the dogs m8 ,i mean if your going to buy fairings anyway may as well have her lookin like the bell of the ball eh.....
 
Had a wee look for you m8 search for posts by russrsv or jester they are some tasty bikes...
 
I'll second that mate,love the looks of the V4 but also love twins (both kinds) ! Best of both worlds there,i'll definately do it when my bank account stops making me weep!!!
 
Hi Red mille ,thats not a v4 m8 thats a gen 1 with a special bodykit on it ,Jester makes the kit and paints them as well truly amazing but you do have to have a spare £1500 !!!!
but if youve had a spill and the inurance has paid out it would be worth lookin into...
 
That's what I mean,V4 looks with V twin motor,had a test ride on the V4,bloody fast and smooth just had no character,loves me twins!!

Where's the damage on your bike?

Jester does two styles of rear, the above and one with the twin fins of an rsv4.

As for paintjobs, the world is your oyster but decide whether it's gonna be something you like, or something that everybody likes and is resellable.

good news though ... i just heard the insurance company are releasing me back my bike which is a huuuuuuge releif !! now i can strip her down n figure out the damage and decide on a direction for the project =D

dont think im sold on the flat tracker idea though ... im thinking more track biased ... no healights ... super lightweight ... daytime MOT only sort of route,
how good of a fit are the sharkshins race fairings ?? anybody have any experiance of them ??
