I want a rear number board decal!

Been looking around and have decided I am not spending £65-£70 on a set of stickers.
My only other option is to have the tail piece and rear seat cover painted Silver to match the rest of the bike, but I don't know if this would look any good.
Does anyone have a set or know where I can get them cheap? I e-mailed an outfit in the States through ebay, but didn't get a reply.
A completely black arse-end isn't pretty in my opinion.

Jay mate, let me know how you get on with the rear number board as i tried earlier this year to get a front and rear but without any joy!!

Cheers.....Andi

I made my front and reckon I could do the rear as well, given time.

Had bought a metre by metre sheet of white gloss, red gloss and matt black 7 year vinyl off Ebay for about £14 delivered, and had some fun.

Have a go and see what you can create, fitting is pretty easy too.

Mate, they look the nuts!

Was thinking of leavin my front one plain, once nose is painted, except for the resale factor, possibly. So mainly the rear I'm worried about as it is just too plain and being black on a silver bike it does look odd, to me.

Food for thought. How did you get the desired shape to the rear - I'd have nothin to copy from.

Saw the tankpads.com ones, but am not paying £60! I will probably get all my painting done including the tail if I decide to, for not much more than that...

I made some templates out of paper first and then placed them on my vinyl and cut out the shape I wanted.

Use masking tape to hold the paper template in place whilst trimming to fit the bike and cutting the vinyl.

Piece of cake.
