I need to take front wheel off but.....

Ive got a rear paddock stand and no abba stand.

Its just to get the front tyre changed and i dont fancy getting cold.

how could i do it?????? and any tips.

I put axel stands under the forks, does the job nicely

take the belly pan off and use a car jack on the front exhaust, it will work fine

to do mine i put it on the back paddock stand dropped the lower fairing put a trolley jack underneath. slacken every thing off first then lift wip the wheel out then gently lower on to some axle stands under forks but left jack there just in case if that makes any sense

Should I take it off the rear paddock stand? :dunno

And should I put the axle stands under the forks straight away, or will the wheel need to be taken off first?

leave it on the paddock stand put on the axle stands as soon as the wheel is out but take a touch of the weight again with the jack after forks have compressed

we used an aluminum ladder in an A frame and a ratched tie down. Lift it up in the middle of the steering and up she goes! It's quick! one man job if you are confident else find some one to assist you. or I could always come down there and pop a wheelie and park it on 12 o'clock on your license tag. lol I'm planning about welding a custom third rearsets/race stand so I can park in style with the front up! when I crash parties! lol

do it however you want mate, what ever makes sense, theres a million ways to take off a front wheel, axel stands work fine, leave the bike on the rear paddock stand to keep the bike upright, then lift and slot the axel stands under the forks one at a time, and bosh, oh and dont forget to remove the calipers!!!!

Ill put a steel rod through the chassis and put 2 axle stands either side of that.
