I need some advice?

I bought a GPR slip on exhaust for my 2014 Tuono..GPR tech says flapper valve should be disconnected and a new map installed..My Aprilia dealership says NO.
They say if is it just a slip on there is no need to re-map..Not sure what to do?

Thanks Blade..What about the stock flapper valve, just leave it alone or disconnect it???

I run a Racefit exhaust and I tried it with and without it connected couldn't say it felt much different either way but connected its easier to be quiet in the towns at 30 :yes
