SP1/2.....are the better bikes or no, has anyone had one....dont get me wrong, I like the Mille but had allways REALLY like the SP's.....are they much the same or night and day....I dont like the TL's.....just thought I'd ask

Bike shop here asked if I woud try one of the 1st SP1's out for them to give some feed back to the customers when selling ... Found the fueling to be very poor at lower speeds etc , motor made great power & felt strong , handling was Ok for a stock bike but needed afair bit of work to be ridden to the motors potental over all I gave it a 7-10 with 8.5-10 setup correctally
Eep. How do you even judge a bike's handling with regard to its frame?

The way the bike can relay feed back through to the rider via the handle bars foot pegs , how it respond's to rider input while pushing into corners while braking & whether the suspension works together giving a stubble compliant feel .. Brakes that give excellent feed back & feel & dont over power the bikes steering etc ..tyres Geometry etc all play a roll as well giving the bike it's over package .. Most bike now adays are pretty well sorted from the Factory but must cover a very large range of riders & abitys from Stock, so a big achievement to do !!
