Well I just bought my first bike a tuono of course I couldnt think of anything that would be more different than what i normally see around here but I have a few q's like what kind of milage can I expect to get out of this motor and gear box with the proper maintenance and are there any parts sites that you guys and gals could recomend. Any help would be awesome since I am so new to all of this. Most of my background is in boats and cars as I am a mastercraft boat technician. And hello to all in tuono land this bike is amazing and I have never had so much fun doing anything else I recently put on about 2000 miles in the last two weeks, I forgot I had a car.

Welcome to the Forum, Lakenbake.

I'll begin the responses, but what I say will only be a start because I live over in the states. My experience has been that the warning light for the low fuel comes on fairly regularly at 134 km when scooting about in town and country. On the freeway, tour or steady state, expect another 16 to 32 km. before the same. I have found there still is about 48 km. travel left in the tank before things get really dry. Check other threads on others experience. I have seen one in the past month.

Regarding parts, AF1 racing has many of the common replacement parts and plenty of upgrades and options. Here's the link to their web page: http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/default.asp

Please note that it is my understanding that they are based in Texas, USA. I'm sure follow up replys can give you others experiences or alternative suggestions. I have found the company to be exceptionally responsive to orders I've placed.

You're in for a big, pleasant surprise if you've not had the opportunity to open up the Tuono and run. I believe that your mechanical background is going to really enhance your experience, especially allowing you to appreciate the great tool between your legs. All the best, mate.

G'day and welcome from Australia.
Riding the Tuono is almost better than ***, coming to think about it the TUONO IS *** ON 2 WHEELS.:lol
Here in Tasmania the accessory market is crap, when compared to England and America.
:cheers Perry

G'day and welcome.

As Jonny has said, AF1 Racing are THE place to go for Tuono bits and upgrades. Their international mail order service is first class and very prompt. Not sure where you're from though....?

Perry's on the mark about accessories in Oz unfortunately. Lucky we all have AF1 to turn to.

Dave
