Saw a Superduke the other day didn't have a hugger on, but had some kind of foam surround on the shock, looked like a massive air filter. Found these ones for ATVs which look similar

Didn't look too bad as it goes, would probably still look naff after a couple of days in the wet though, but should keep the worst off the shock

my mate had one of these on his old streetfighter,,all well and good but on a mille near the exhaust..mmnnn...could be dodgy

yeah they are called shock tubes i think and they have a website around 30 - 40 boys. they look cool and are like a wet suit material.
i dont run a hugger and i dont ride in the rain simple for me :thumbup
