Hi everyone ...

Stumbled across TuonoZone researching my next purchase. Am having to give up sports bikes following an accident that has reduced reach and mobility and have always fancied a Tuono. Have decided on a 2008/09 Factory although still have to negotiate that with significant other who was also in the accident and only recently agreed to my getting back on the road on something safe/sensible - KTM 690SMR : )

Have some exercising and strength building to do before I'll be capable of riding a Tuono but will use that as a massive incentive. I'm a lazy git otherwise...

Anyway, thanks for having me and I'm looking forward to keeping up with all your advice, banter, pics etc

Ride safe all of you !!

Cheers,

Gavin

welcome on board Gavin plenty knowledge on here, hope you get the bike you want and soon

Welcome Gav, nice to have another Nesbit on board and yer decision to go for a factory is a wise one IMO.

Keep us posted on how yer getting on wae yer search fir a T, and get workin oot, nae time like the present mucker. :thumbup

Oh aye, a near forgot to say there are a few Tuono owning Fuds up yer neck of the woods, I'm sure it won't be long afore they chime in.

Welcome mate, Tuono is still a long reach have you tried one out yet?

Its the reason I bought the bike in the first place, had a street triple and it was too cramped seat to bars for me.

Hope you are back out soon (690SMR sensible!!)

Thanks ! No haven't ever sat on one but looking for an opportunity to do that now. Will need to check out local shops first and if that fails stalk an owner ...
KTM was the result of protracted negotiation for something between another 1000cc sports bike and a twist-and-go that I would only use to hack to work and back.
Would miss the grunt of a bigger bike though.

G, Glasgow mucker, but don't hold that against me.

Give this place a wee visit, tuonoworld.com - Index I'm sure yer won't be disappointed.

Yer'll get a bit more attention fae yer locals. :yes :thumbup

Welcome to the forum Gav.
Hope you get your strength up and get a bike that fits.

Thanks. Hope the Tuono does just that. If not may resort to hanging from something with weights around my feet ... To stretch/straighten my arms, nothing else : )))
