Some people might not realise a trick to start Milles, if your battery is ok, and it doesn't start straight away as you like, it will flood really quickly, so to avoid cranking over and over and risk the broken spragg clutch/ cracking cases issue, I found holding the throttle wide open and holding the start button with your left hand allows you to shut the throttle quick as it will undoubtable start with a neighbourly roar!!!
Also if you have some makes of alarms, and you use the bike say once a week or over, leaving it plugged into an optimate is sometimes needed to combat the constant drain of them. cheers Johny l
