How to smoke out the indicators??

Hi all, well i was thinking of tinting my rear orange lenses on my bike to a darker smoke coulour?? Cant find clear ones for it, so fancied the tinted smoke affect as there very very orange...Any links, ideas or tips how to do this?? thanks all Daz.

You can get a set of clear lenses from rsvr.net but it ain't cheap. I bought a set last year and it cost me £46 with delivery! I think you'll struggle trying to get a smoked effect on your orange lenses. In order to cover up the orange colour the lenses will end up virtually opaque and next to useless. :dunno

Hmmmm, yes they are a little expensive for clear...Just thought maybe a light tint of dark to them would just take that orange in your face, down a tone or two. I Have dark screen visor and smoked front headlight protectors. Would be nice just to match them slightly...Am sure you used to be able to spray them with special transparent tinted laquer?? maybe not though...:dunno

buy some tint spray of ebay, personally i would not do my bike but ive done alot of my cars with the spray, very easy to do,

it will reduse the brightness of the bulb a bit but do one very light coat at a time and see how it go's.

Ok i will have a look into it but now not sure if i should do it or not....Anyone else done this and could maybe show me an example of there work??:thumbup

Car shops sell paint for tinting lenses, Chavs use them on their cars.
I'm not entirely sure it's a legal mod.
