Craig mate,

Gimme a call on 07971-826-160 as the MOT station i used is in Fauldhouse, West Lothian and i've never taken my Arrow off for testing. He's told me the noise level isn't an issue for him just the safety stuff! Had my Speed Triple up there with full Devil system on (real loud) and passed without comment. I'll meet you this side of the bridge or somewhere in West Lothian you know and take you up whenever your ready bud.

Cheers.

mines always been through with the race cans on and passed, maybe advisery on noise

Also, can't remember the whole thing but basically if its eu stamped they can't fail it as eu testing is different to bs

Your cans don't have to have the eu stamp on, but if they have 'not for road use' stamped on, they could fail it.
read this, it tells you how to get rid of the 'not for road use' stamp...

I've got the same system as yours stokesy and haven't had a problem as the other gents here have already said. If you check out the MOT testing requirements, you'll find that the "noise" test is not actually carried out using a DB meter and is in fact "at the discretion of the MOT tester"

If you do have a problem, there is a guy on ebay that will make you up two baffles/db killers for the exhausts. Do a search on db killers. From memory you'll need 43mm outlet ones if you go down that route :thumbup

Aparently the rules changed and it more up to the tester about the exhaust my guy who tests mine keeps saying PARDON when I ask about loud cans but he passed my track bike for daytime MOT GOOD BLOKE:doug

Thanks for that offer Andirsv,i think i will book it it to my local mot station and see how it goes,if i have any problems i will be in touch, thanks for all the advice, what an Ace bunch!

No worries bud.........you've got my number now if needed..........:thumbup

PS.....i'll be organising a wee Mille ride out when the weather picks up as there's a few of us "around" the central belt now!!
