Guides how to change my 99 millie from kmh to mph please help!

Hi guys and girls, I've got a rsv millie on a 99 reg. I changed the exhaust, went to start to see how she sounded (amazing ) but the bike hick upped when started and the dash turned into kmh where it was mph. Please help.
