I am ashamed to say .. no.
3500 would get me a truly mint 03 model, I couldnt possibly justify 5k on essentially the same thing. especially as having something rare then throwing tonnes of miles on it is a shame.. equally, having something so good to ride, then sticking it in a glass box is sacrilidge . i'll just wash my hands of it and let it be a problem for someone else lol

Yes, my thoughts too. A lot of extra money for a bike that's only really marginally better than a standard 2003 rsvr. At £4K I'd be tempted.

Rob :)

I bought my Haga for 3300 with 14k on it and a complete spare fairing set inc new tank...

there sure are lots of stories of rediculous deals being had on RSVR-s just seems I can't find them.

Wrong time of year. Bought mine in september at the end of the season, nobody wants to sell their bike now, if they do they want top dolla

I'm usually buying bikes for friends in november at the lower prices, often make money selling 18months later.. at least break even.

Thing is, I dont want to miss another summer just because I hate my current bike now...

Skullface is one of my best friends. He's here looking for an RSV because of me after I changed his mind from a GSXR1000.

So, he knows.

Yes, I'd worked most of that out already...hence my comment that a ZX6R is not going to help. ;)

Rob :)

As much as Phil deserves a kick in his kwak.. its actually part of why I know I need a change.. the ZZR600 I have now can keep up with those ZX6r-s happily.. but its so damn different to ride, have to wrestle it about.. though to give it fair dues.. it does go well once pushed. I rode his 6r, and only a G model.. and it was night and day difference. Thing is I'm sick of it. Want a bike like a new puppy, desperate to do anything to please me and skitish as feck.

ohh... and would be nice to get back to a place where I was scared of abusing the throttle.. tried all sorts of 6's and always spend far too much time at WOT for my liking.
