Hello Everyone,

I am picking up a 03 Tuono Limited tomorrow #199. I can not find a price comparison anywhere. If anyone knows what this bike is worth please enlighten me.

Thanks

Hi Scrip, where are you? What condition is the bike in? Has it been modified at all? What you're asking is fairly subjective depending on the bike itself but being a low production run of the orginal (and still the best!) Tuono you can expect to pay a resonable premium over a standard T like mine which is worth around about 12-14K in Aussie dollars.

Well I am in Ventura Ca USA and the bike is perfect. It has Akropovic full carbon dual exhaust and the upgraded computer to go with it. New levers and clip ons, Sargent seat and carbon cowl where the passenger seat was. It is mine now so doesn't real matter what it is worth because I will never sell it:thumbup If your bike is faster than mine , then your bike is toooo fast. Just so you know I got it for $7,000 us....You have to love this economy.

I almost bought a red 03, when I found #199. My wife could not understand why I wanted to spend an extra $2500, when the red one was so much prettier. Do realize that we all own VFRs and Tuonos, VFR4lee, Deyago and Me. Oh and Lee is my middle name.

You can all call me Lee too if it helps...:yes

The Viffers prove our intelligence and shrewd ability to spot a good bike that the dear lady will enjoy too. The Tuonos prove that it's more fun to be a total looney when the missus isn't looking.

There's no such thing as a T that's too fast Scrip, just forearms that need more strength. :thumbup I've had it up to 235 before wind became the deciding factor :banghead. I think that 250 is a distinct possibility

235!!!! damn that's fast. I call ********! Then I realized your Down Under and your talkin Kilometers not MPH :lol I'll have to change my bike back to Kilometers and then pin it and see what I get. I know I could do the math, but if I was that smart I wouldn't be doing a high speed run on my T to begin with.:roost
