How louds too loud for track day???

doing a track day at mallory at end of august and the noise limit is 105db, how louds that then?? i.ve got a leo vince pipe and its fooking loud but i dont know how loud! :dunno
 
someone will most probably correct me but..

i think stock is like 98 db... if you got one i'd wack the stock one on.
 
You do hear some stuff at track days that you wonder how it got through. It also depends on how loud the day is. If you've got a standard can I'd take it with you (assuming you're going by van or trailering it) as your day will be ruined if they fail you. Also, that way you can get your loud one tested first then change it if it fails then you'll know. I always put my standard can on for track days - apart from anything else it makes an excellent crash protector!
Best of all, as you're not far away, ring up the circuit and ask them if you can get noise tested before the event (I know Castle Combe will do this so possibly Mallory will) then you'll be certain.

As a reference. I have a Yoshimura no buffle and in my trackdays has tested between

102 and 103db.
