I've just ordered a new can for 02 mille (mtc carbon) and i want to know what to expect when removing the original can on my 8 year old bike.

is it a case of remove springs and twist hard? how do i know how much force is too much?

thanks

Should be ok , just need a strong grip on the springs to get them off and then twist and pull the can . Put a beowulf on mine shortly after getting it.

Just remove springs & hanger bolt pull & twist left and right, comes off easy

Mine came off dead easy. Unhooked springs, removed hanger bolt, gentle twist & slid straight off mate.

cool.

just out of interest do you slide the pipe over on its own or should i use sealer as well as the jubilee?

My replacement can, a Remus Revolution was also a slip on so i just slid it straight on, attached sprrings & located the hanger bolt mate.

what's a16 cans like? any good? that was my other consideration as i quite like the style

Easy to get original off. Can be a ******* to get new on but mine went on easy enough with a touch of WD40 and instead of trying to force it on, just relax and ease it on.

Paul.
