I have an ice white tuono and the tank protector is stained from my black leather, is there a way to remove the stains from the protector without damaging the paint and protector or loosening adhesive?

Some sort of mild abrasive,I guess.
Try a tiny amount of T-Cut on a cloth and go gently bently,...and only on the stains.

oooooh this is so open to abuse, but i,ll refrain.....

as keith said..

Thanks for the suggestion, i've tried with auto glim, it's removed some of the staining but not much of it.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance as I have a black plastic tank but is the tank painted

Have you try Flash for special surfaces - removes all sorts of stains and evil substances

Oi freestyler are you iphoning, as that spelling is quite funny :thumbup

Try some of this, Fizzy....

Seems to work on anything and everything. You can get it in Robert Dyas.

I've got a couple of spots on my tank that just won't come clean.
I've put it down to un-laquered plastic, which has soaked in the juice from a dead insect and so will never come out.
and so now, I always clean off the bugs from the plastics after a ride.

Also noticed that around the fuel cap the tank plastic's gone a little yellowish.

Life lesson learnt, never again will i purchase an un laquered white motorcycle; but I'm gonna enjoy this one just as much anyway...
