How dead can a battery get

Ok guys, well I have known for a while that the battery was gone, ok for now.

BUT, now when I turn the key I get nothing, no dash, no fuel pump prime, NOTHING....

Is that just a sign of a really ****** battery..........or something else

a battery can fuse/short inside and you will get this, so i say it is fecked, time to buy a YTZ14s-BS

I had a battery do a similar thing. One of the plates inside had overheated and warped shorting the batt cell out internally. Stick a meter across it to prove it's duff.
