bought some Ferrari Red vinyl for £5... then proceded too cover my spare rider seat... just very quickly too see what it would look like... iv seen one which looked good on here... think it was a 03 silver model... & iv got a pic of a silver 02 but it had red wheels too match... anyways... doesnt seem too have the full affect with black wheels & Baglux cover... lol !! :dunno

Mate, red seat could look OK with the belly pan but what's screwing it up is that disgusting used condom of a Baglux cover - they're guarenteed to make any bike look *****! Get shot of it.
 
Tend to agree, Mine had a red suede covered seat fitted with a baglux cover but it seems better on a black bike.:dunno

I've since taken off the cover as it wasn't actually needed and the Diablo paint looks better I thought,plus there was a nice gel 'Nori Haga Louts,Dogs Borrocks' tank pad underneath.

On a personal level I wish the previous owner had left the seat unmolested.

That's something I was wondering about,either that or looking on fleabay etc

The only problem being the red suede has been leached by the sun and is now a rather fetching shade of pink :supergay

I've been toying with the idea of painting/dyeing it red again but knowing my luck at the moment it would all come off on my leathers if I got caught in the rain LOL

As for buying a replacement I think that will have to go on the 'to do' list for when (if) I can find a job. Money is getting very tight now,if the Sv was worth anything I might have to look at selling that to keep paying the bills.

I really don't know how I came to be in posession of this information,several such links seem to have installed themselves in my bookmarks folder and it seems a shame not to investigate further.:doug
