Well, anyone with any pointers for me. Just been for a ride, no issues, pop into the shop, come out, the bike starts and as soon as you pop into first the engine cuts. No lurching forward or the likes. I assume it's the sidestand switch, but whats the quickest roadside way to get going again? :dunno

Any ideas appreciated! :)

Undo the switch on the clutch lever.

Sorted. Ripped the god damn useless thing off and wound the two wires together. Not pretty, but functional and it's got me back :D

It's never done it before Kiwi, first time.

Witch thing?

I was looking if it was usefull to connect pin 20 and 21 together on the ecu connector.

But haven't tested it yet.
Welll happy you are on a role again.

Cheers Alain

Thanks Alain. The god damn useless piece of clart that is the sidestand switch is what I ripped off in the end sir :thumbup consigned to the bin never to return :nana

Do a bypass mod M8 in favour of just ripping it out, as its handy to see the sidestand light on when you forget to put it up .

It is staying firmly in the bin sir where it belongs with the rest of the rubbish! If I ever ride off with the sidestand down then I only ever have myself to blame :thumbup

I did the same squire. I recommend the best mod you can ever do, sack of ***** thing. Glad you got her running again
