... been checking all the forums and there seemed to be a question regarding a rev limiter during the break in period, even dealers were confused.
Vin # 126 had an rev limiter and there was no menu function, even in dealer mode, to remove it. The bike would not rev past +/- 7500 rpm.
Today, somewhere between 600 and 625 miles on the odometer the rev limiter disappeard! It was like suddenly like riding another completely new bike.There does not seem to be a second break-in limiter, since it would quickly and easily
rev past 10,000.... Time for an oil change, at last!
It's going to be interesting playing with the APRC settings again without the limiter.... Scheduled for a remap (Aprilia / Akro slip on) and sprocket next Saturday..
