High mileage tires

Ok, i do most of my riding on boring straight roads, with the (really) odd turn or two, all kinds of weather except snow, so I'll be getting:

Michelin Pilot roads or
Bridgestone BT 054 Rear and Bt 056 front

anyone used these before? :dunnoI hope to get some mileage out of these because my RSV is my only transport.

The best tyre for Mileage for me was on my zx9 which I used for work and play. Managed to get 6500 Miles out tof the back plus a trip to IOM on it too.

Good tyre Bridgestone B021.

As per the other post about a puncture do it, go for a harder rear if mainly road miles.
As for Bridgestone, go for an 014 front with an 021 rear mate.. 021 is a mixed compound with a harder centre compound.
Above will probably be my combination of choice, my RSV came with Diablo Corsas but the rear was shagged, so I've put a normal (harder) Diablo on the rear to go with the Diablo Corsa front.
I will always go for the mileage out of the harder rear, it's hardly like you couldn't get your knee down on the harder stuff anyway.
