High beam warning light

Hi all, has anyone else had incidents of high beam warning light coming on for no reason other than it was raining hard? Suspect water ingress issue somewhere.

Yeh problably water , out with the WD40 .

Yep.... well the warning light was coming on for a reason.... the main beam came on on its own !

Switchgear was full of water....

Thanks snowman. I'll obviously do switches, relays between lights, connector into dash. Where else will I find connections to squirt??

I would start by splitting the left hand switch housing... i had riden through a monsoon and water poured out of it when taken apart....

My bikes 5yr old in April an fingers X not had a problem, mind you I do live in the "Sunny Dry South" ????????????????

I had problems last year in France - spent over 7 hours in solid rain. I think most likely switchgear issue as flicking pass switch did cure it albeit only for a few seconds. I'll get the WD40 to it for sure. Thanks snowman and felix.
