Hi all. loving the new bike still! could do with a quick bit of advice now.
On my first ride I found the dipped beam (main light, whatever you call it) wasn't working. I've taken the nosecone off and when I did the red wire fell out of its fitting unprovoked, I think this must be the trouble :roll
I've tried to get the metal fitting to which the wire is crimped out of the plastic connector block, in order to crimp it back on but its not coming out. To be honest I've probably buggered it now!
Here is a pic of the other half of the connector block
I think I'm gonna hav to replace the the whole connector block, both sides. The thing is it looks a bit of a fancy one. There's little rubber gromets that follow the wires in to seal from the weather and a rubber seal where the two halves meet. I would like to replace it with a similar quality one rather than just a couple of spade connectors.
Assuming its ok to chop this one out and replace it can anyone recommend what sort of connector I should replace it with and where to get one from. I am :jack with electrics!
Thanks, Richie
