Hi level now fitted

R

Rich

After a trip to Gibson exhausts the other week for the link pipe to be made, and buying one of those clear integrated tail lights, I finally got round to fitting the high level system today. I think it looks the dogs and removing the indicators and rear pegs has really tidied up the back end. Also fitted the quick release seat pins. Here's a couple of pics, Gibsons did a great job on the link pipe. I took it for a quick spin too, takes a bit of getting used to with my heel occasionally touching the link pipe but you soon get used to it. All in all, well pleased :thumbup

looks pretty mean pal.....not my sort of thing but looks a nice clean install.
how have you found the integrated rear lights....can you see the indicators when braking(obviously not when your on the bike lol)?

The indicators aren't too bad really, the tail/brake light on the same side goes out while the indicator is flashing so it shows up better. Being LED they are never as bright as a proper bulb but they are better than I was expecting.

nice job rich.. i take you,ve used Gibson exhausts before for your 2-strokes..isnt that the home of the old ALLSPEED pipes?

p.s...like the sound of the quick release seat pins...lol

Hi, yeah Gibsons as in Allspeeds. :thumbup. I've known Tony who runs it for many years (through owning LCs) and he took over the business a few years ago when Pete Gibson moved to Australia.

looks awesome:thumbup have you got Gibson contact detials as i would like to get some high level link pipes made for mine oh and what sort of money did they charge (pm me if you dont want to say on here)

Cheers :thumbup

Longfingers, it's a Puig screen, was on the bike when I bought it.

Matt, they charged me £100 for the link pipe including polishing. You'll need to take the bike to them as they made mine to fit, took a few hours. Not sure how busy they are at the moment so best give them a ring.
