Hello there, although I've never been a member here before I have owned an 07 Tuono in the past, I brought it new from the Rocket Centre and have regretted it ever since having sold it! I've been on the look out the last year or so for a mint low mileage bike but it had to be in the best colour scheme that is the blue and white paint scheme. I found one at Bill Smith Motors in Chester and went to have a look and demo ride, at the same time I had a go on a Speed Triple that they had for sale, my second ride on a Speed but this time the bike was fully run in so I gave it a dam good thrashing! Have to say it's one of the best bikes that I have ever ridden, I completely gelled with it in every respect down to nearly falling off the back as the front wheel came up! It had to choose between the bikes which one to buy an unenviable thing to have to do! The mind said triumph (maybe more reliable and ease of obtaining parts) but the heart said Aprillia, it just looked so lovely! The bike itsself has only covered about 2,500 miles came with fuel pipes,a rear seat cowl,crash bungs a set of the shorter adjustable levers, all the keys and book and all the MOT certs. I only ridden it three times so far due to the weather of late, there are a few things I want to do before the riding season starts, like fix the dreaded brown connector issue and change the front sprocket. I added some bling to it in the shape of a beautiful carbon rear hugger and some anodised bits (think I might have over done it with these blue reservoir bits!) Every time I ride it I just want to carry on going, it really makes me grin from ear to ear and turns me into a complete a yob! The other bike I have is the heavy weight BMW K1300R. Bike looks mint. Probably the only colour to match the blue wheels properly in my view that is.:thumbup
Hello again, couple more pics of the devil machine, don't know if I've over done it with the blue Oberon caps maybe should have gone for the more subtle black caps, what do you think? Don't be suprised if they turn up cheap on Flee bay anyday sone! Regards Dave.
