Hiya mate and welcome to the site. I've only had my RSVR a week so I'm still learning too! A lot of good people on here who will help you out.

Not sure about the RPM limit, one of the other guys did mine for me earlier today. To set the time, turn on the ignition, press D twice (first time will show the volts, second time clock should start flashing). Use the lap/pass button on the left bar switch to set the time. Press D to swap from hrs to minutes, and once more when you're done.

Welcome to the forum mate. :thumbup

Have a gander here for the dash controls. Click Me

To set the red line threshold turn the igntion on and press and hold C let the needle will go round to the max first time then it will bounce down to zero. Let go of the button and then press it until it gets to about 1000 RPM before the limit you want to set, then let go of the button.

It'll take you a few bashes to get it set at what you want, trust me. :roll

Do a search on the sidestands, one of the guys has found that a Honda stand fits our bikes and makes them much more stable. (Arreesmill)

excellent!!!!!just printing that off now thaks again lads big help..

I've had my Mille for ages and can still never remember all the dash functions. I have printed it off and posted it on my shed wall for ease of reference, I also have one in my tail piece just in case. LOL

Is that a sign of old age or what? :devious

I have literally not pressed one button on my dash yet, because I'm fairly sure if I do it without instructions in front of me I'll just have to ride home with something flashing at me :D

I haven't even reset my trip :/

no need to push any dash buttons on these models mate, just twist the black round thingo on the right bar towards yerself and point head in general direction of interest :D
