Thought that would get you're attention but no sorry, just a streetfighter guy who has recently bought a RSV Factory for no other reason than the price was right. Just sold a Truimph Speed Triple and a Duke 996SPS. Was waiting for the RSV4 Tuono next year but could'nt sit 6 months with nothing..... but then saw a bargain on Ebay and could'nt refuse. Seriously thinking of buying an 07/08 Tuono R and just swaping over all the trick bits from the RSV Factory....

awrite mate, see yer fae banchory, wis up hat way a few weeks back, up ower glenshee banchory stonehaven and back doon tae fife, ******* cracking tarmac

Me and Mr Jo-o-ones... We gonna go riding in the Highlands...

Welcome sir. Feel free to enjoy the silliness.

And about that girl trapped in a man's body thing. I hear Sweden is getting real good at the operation needed.

Let me get this right, you've got an Rsv Factory and are thinking of buying a T'r and putting the goodies off the Rsv on to the T ???

If I have that right you'll end up with a good T but a ****** up mish mash Rsv ????????

Don't make sense to me.

I had a Rsvr and loved it but after a year and 3000 miles and a load of fookin about with variobars and droppin the pegs etc etc decided to get a T.

I sat and stared at the R for days on end thinking about changing things to make it more T like, priced stuff up etc. To much agro and it would never look right.

What I did in the end was bought an 03 Tuoldo [a damn good one as it turned out] and tried it out for a few weeks before I made my mind up.

Soo I decided on a new T. Sold the Tuoldo and bought the one I have today. Its magnificent. I lost a load on the trade in on the R but was even on the T. It wasn't too painfull but not really bothered as I'll keep the T for a few years anyway [nothin better anyhoo]

I'm ramblin on a bit here but in my opinion[and it counts for very little on here:lol:lol] you should leave the Rsv alone. If you can't quite justify extra layout on a Factory T new shape, and you want 2 bikes budget for a good T'r and get the goodies later when money permits [still won't be an F tho].

Alternatively get a Tuoldo F, fookin awsome machines and, check England2's bike out---- thier beautifull.

Yours, Nobfookair.

disclaimer.
Hope I got it right and what I wanted to say came across well and it was taken in the spirit intended. If I did not get it right ignore everything.

Aye Nobist, normally what you say there would be true, but I picked up the 04 Factory for £3750 (feel really sorry for the bloke - 18 month ban and a killer fine...). So.... even if I swap out all the trick bits, I'll still easily get £3500 for the ex-Factory. Could end up with a Factory spec 08 /09 Tuono for under £6K (and it won't have that totally ***** paint job the official factory bikes have!)

Aye Aye, not far away from you in Oldmeldrum.

So your not keen on the paintjobs on the T's i have to disagree i have the blue and white and i love it! this coming from a Dons supported also.

Enjoy the RSV lovely machines.

:cheers
