So I am not as of yet a tuono owner as I have a few questions before making a purchase.
I am undecided in which bike to buy, I ride a 2011 Street triple at the moment on the road which for around here is great fun, we have a lot of twisty roads over here, but I find when I get a decent open road she is lacking in power (plus my 6ft 90kg frame holds the bike back a bit maybe). Anyhow I always loved the Tuono and now want to change bike but I can afford a mint low km V2 or an early V4 say 2011 but that would be pushing the bank.
I know the Tuonos have had stator problems but where they fixed?¿ and what other advise of things to look for and ask about in a second hand purchase specific to these bikes can you advise me on.
One other problem I have is test riding the bike....spanish insurance law means test riding is almost impossible unless the seller is really trusting you and that is infrequent to say the least so I am just having to go on youtube and sitting on them....are they anywhere near as good fun on twisties as a street triple ?¿
