Hi all, just picked up a 2006 Gen2 Tuono R with 34k miles.
First time riding a V-Twin after years of inline fours and the occasional triple.
Interesting power delivery....
So far, so good.
Will spend some time riding it to see what, if anything, needs tweaking.

Only taken one photo so far on first ride out. Weather looks good today so I'll be out and about shortly. More photos to follow.

Glad I've been able to get a few miles under my belt on the Tuono.
It's surprisingly comfortable for a big load like me.
Managed to buy some o-ring seals to stop the petrol cap from leaking too.
Clocks are faulty intermittently. Sometimes no rev counter, today no Speedo but rev counter ok.
Time now to clean and resolve some cosmetic matters.
Loving it so far!

hi W , there is a thread somewhere on here about leaking fuel caps and a real cheap cure !!! basically cut a circle of flat plastic from the side of a milk carton and slip it under the existing rubber seal .
works for me , but i wish id done it before i went to italy / switzerland 2 years ago where the petrol is **** and full of ethanol , and peels laquer like its on a mission .!!!!

Yes I read that thread and tried the plastic but couldn't get it to work so I bought some o-rings which have done the trick.
