Hi Dr D, welcome to the Zone.

Are you just touching up or did you buy a wreck ?

Good idea to start off with the slower Red variety to gently break you into V power =D

Its been sat in a kitchen for a while, so clean, service, polish....before I take it out.
I have Ducati 900 in black so I might cope with the slow red RSV!

I'll post a pic of the bike, once I have cleaned, serviced and rebuilt her.......since I am doing it at snail's pace that may well be next weekend.
I am giving it the 15k works - 10 years old with just under 10,500 miles on.
Keep finding things to clean as I deal with bits.
At least its got nice new hydraulic fluid in and tail fairing electrics cleaned.
Got to put some new exhaust heat wrap in the belly pan next.

Good stuff Dr D, these bikes like to be loved as i'm sure you're well aware of having a Duc. Great Bikes, hope you enjoy it ;)

New front plugs done, all electrics cleaned, hoses given a clean with Wynn's Rubber rejuvenator, throttle assembly cleaned and dab of white lithium grease, etc etc.
Now to polish all the filter box prior to reassembly.

Well one step forwards and 12 back! All plugs done.
Waiting for Air and Oil filter to arrive so.......
Decided to check the linkages bearings - good job too.
It will stay on SORN an extra week while I replace bearings etc.
It will be worth it once sorted.

So together and ready to ride once I have put the other Italians to bed for the evening!
