Just joined the site, thought I'd say HI! :cheers

Live in Essex, UK.
Got an '05 Tuono, which I've had from new (first bike I've kept for more than 2 years! :thumbup) and an SV650 trackbike.

Not had a good look around the site yet.

Anyone here local to me????

Lee.

Lee, i think there's a few folk out your way. welcome to the site :cheers i take it from your choice of bikes you're a v-twin man through and through :laugh

Yup!!

Fell in love with twins on my first test ride!

still like fours and triples, but will always have at least one twin!!

i hear yah, i regret giving mine up...i'd still get the R1, but I would have left a twin in the garage as well. how does the T stack up to the SV on the track. Kinda apples and oranges I know, but I'm curious about people's reactions to the tuono as a track tool.

I've only tracked the tuono once.
it was awesome, but was always a bit cautious in case i binned it!

Trouble is, the Tuono was on diablo's and the SV runs super corsa pro's with tyre warmers, not to mention it's stripped to the bone, so weighs bugger all,has ohlins etc.
being about 70BHP, you can take liberties on the throttle, where the tuono, you (well i do!!!) have to leave opening it up a bit later!

the tuono probably is more of a laugh on track......

really thinking about selling the SV next year, tracking the tuono and buying another road bike......

decisions, decisions!!!

Welcome dude... I am in Kent near Maidstone.

I picked up a 06 Tuono yesterday, its a bit mashed up tho. Riding a 52 plate Mille now... she is rocking! 129bhp at Renegades old dyno.
