Hi everyone,
After a break of 19yrs from biking (mostly commuting plus some leisure riding) I bought an SV650 SK1 (full fairing) in 2011 for leisure and the occasional commute. Great bike, light, nimble, and pretty quick 0-60mph (3.2s according to Wikipedia due to power to weight ratio. But after 3 years I needed something more powerfull(!) so it's now up for sale.
Really like the Suzuki TL1000s (big brother to SV650 curvy - as most will know), but so many issues on the original 'Widow Maker' (e.g. rotary damper, cracking head stocks, tank slappers, etc). But then I discovered the Tuono... as powerful, better handling, and doesn't try to kill you when least expected! Plus upright riding position is better on longer runs. So... acquired a 2004 plate 'Fighter' (grey & gold) end Dec... and loving it... Few minor bits to sort on the bike to get it back to A1, but looking forward to the fun... especially on the road... :thumbup
B-regards,
Paul
