Hi everyone!
I'm Nic and I live in Reading, UK.
I'm Italian, and I moved to the UK after passing a selection and getting a job offer here in Reading more than two years ago.
I'm the proud owner of a 2003 RSV Tuono which I'm in the process of finally shipping over from Italy, where it's been sitting all this time in a friend's garage.
I've worked a lot on that bike: I've modified the wiring to improve battery charging, fitted a bigger battery (the Caponord one), fitted a circuit breaker for switching off the headlight at startup, raised windscreen, shortened brake/clutch levers (I got used to using 1/2 fingers during my short off-road "career"), 4 pads RSV-R front calipers, serviced/adjusted forks and rear damper (the latter done by a specialist) for fast road/trackday use, K&N washable air filter, longer aluminium intake "horns", smoothened and fine-sanded throttle bodies, shortened final transmission, dedicated ECU chip.
I come from Verona, near the Alps, which used to be my playground, together with the occasional track day.
I've been lucky enough to do track days in: Adria Raceway, Rijeka (Croatia), Imola (by far my favourite), Monza. Obviously I'm looking forward to trying the awesome racetracks in this country!
You might be wondering why I registered here and not on the "Tuono" section. Well, the thing is that the Human Verification in the registration form there doesn't work, thus preventing me from completing the process. To my relief though, I noticed that some Tuono owners are posting here as well!
Well, that's all I think...
Have a good day everyone!
