Hi. I took delivery of my 05 RSV/R yesterday.....What a piece of kit. I had a TL1000/R for four years and even though it was a bit dated when I got it it was the most fun I had ever had with my clothes on. Like an ***** I traded it for a cruiser, a year on I have realised my mistake & gone back to sports bikes. I went on a two hour run last night and am just getting my spine back to a straight line! I have a 72 Honda CB 500/4 ,1964 BSA A10, & 1969 MGB GT . enough to keep any man busy.
Cheers
Tom

Welcome mate - let's have a look at your Mille and that 500/4 - that'll bring back some memories.

Hello mate and welcome to the madhouse.

How does the rsv's engine compare to the TLR? note I said engine, as the handling of the RSV will absolutely crucify the TLR. The engine was always good in the TL's and sound awesome just that dodgy rotary damper!!! What were Suzuki thinking about

Welcome to the forum Tom, from another former TL1000R owner ! :thumbup

As spud said, you`ll LOVE the RSVR, and yes, it will annihilate the TL through the corners (suppose it should though, really, progress `n all that !....)

You`ll soon get back into the race-bike riding position mate, and I also think the RSVR is more comfortable than the TL, as well.....not that you really buy them with that in mind !! :devious
