hi guys and gals

my name is evan, am currently looking at a 2001 rsv mille that is at a breakers, and it has stickers on it from this site.

it is a cat c.
(will get sum pics of it up when i can)

before i can buy it tho i need to know what year frames will fit a 2001 model, as i can buy the whole bike apart from frame.

have wanted one of these for years, i currently ride a suzuki tl1000s which i may have to sell to fund this(depending on how much it eventually costs) but hopefully i will be able to keep both.
what can i say, i love twins

any info welcomed

I think that a 1998 to (early)2003 frame will be okay for you, however you may need the appropriate swingarm and shock linkages for the frame you choose as they changed a bit between models.

sorry am afraid i was wrong, it is a w reg, so i think is a 99 or 2000

i see your in southend, im in westcliff so i guess i will be hastling you alot.lol

ok a quick run down of the bike, see if anyone recognises it.

Carbon Fibre fender, hugger, side panels, footrests guards, exhaust hanger, and swingarm protectors(alot of cf.lol)
Front wavey discs, calipers air scoops, billet clutch and brake reservoir caps and possibly braided hoses.

parts im going to need:

Front cone( headlamp fairing) + screen
Mirrors X2
Main frame
Exhaust end can
Bar ends
Front indicators

will keep you posted and try to get those pics up in the next few days.

Why do you need to change the frame?

cos it has gone through the insurance co, even tho it only has cosmetic damage, for whatever reason the insurance company wrote it of, so the frame has to be destroyed, thats y i get everything accept the frame.
