hi all,
new member to the forums and also new to Apprila's. picking my 04 rsv factory up on Saturday and can't wait. previous bike history is sv650 when I passed my test 4 year ago and trading my 1200 bandit in for the factory. one question for you guys is, the bike is coming with renegade cans but no standards. how loud are these cans and will they pass an mot with no issues as iv read a few comment about them being on the loud side.

you should be ok mate i have a very loud leo vince on mine and i put the standard can on for my mot and it passed but the mot guy asked me why i changed it as he said he would still have passed it anyway i guess its just down to how nice a bloke your local mot guy is lol.

If need be you can pick standard cans up on fleabay for a fraction of the price !

and also there are plenty of lads on here who have standered cans which im sure if you asked nicely would let you borrow for an mot run!!! most on here dont bite????

I live in barnsley south yorkshire. Picked the bike up yesterday and went for first run on it today. All I can say is what an amazing machine. And yea the cans are a bit on the loud side lol.
