Hi
I should be picking up a 1999 mille today.
You will probably all know me in a few weeks as the bike has been under canvas for 5 years.
I have been scouring all these forums for probable problems lol.
Any advice is always welcome, but please dont say get rid as ive always wanted one.
i hope its going to be a winter project and not a permanent one hehe.

Welcome along

I've had mine 8 years it's let me down twice when out on the road

Solenoid connection and battery came loose

Now not starting is another issue get a good quality battery , invest in a 150amp solenoid,set of updated starter/battery leads from jonhboy on rsvr.net... invest in an optimate.

She looks Sweet, Ive had one since new bought in 2002 and only thing its ever done to me was not start like redrat has said above, Rock Solid Engines, Treat em with care and they will treat you back I always say, Justy recently purchased another for a track bike, Love Em!!
