Hey, this is my first post to say hello! I live in Las Vegas and enjoy riding here, but was 115 degrees yesterday making it a bit harsh. I have a cherry 03 RSVR in black and an 07 Ducati Monster S4Rs in pearl/red. I've been riding for many years, mostly sport bikes, but have owned a Harley and a dirt bike too. I love my Euro toys and now would drive/ride nothing else. Have never been on the track, but am now considering it. I've been through an auto racing school, and now think it's time for the bike.

Best,
Pete

Hey Pete & Welcome,

Well you've certainly come to the right place too, Everybody here is as mad as a box of frogs, but you'll certainly find some damn decent folk and cracking information about the APE..................... :)

Hi Pete

Weather crap here raining, windy (Preston,Lancashire,England) .............Apart from that welcome to a mega site m8 :thumbup

hey welcome...not been to vegas since '97.....good memories....you have a race track on your doorstep so it would be rude not to really:thumbup

Thanks for the welcome messages! Most appreciated and nice to feel welcomed! I've put a few pics up in my garage and created an album. I haven't had the RSVR for more than a few months and still haven't detailed it or ridden it much due to a CA title issue. I rode it commando several times, but finally got it plated last week. I'll get some better pics up soon! Hoping to get a model or two on the bike for some bikini pics (I have the terrible job of interviewing/hiring bikini models once in awhile).

bikes look awesome mate :thumbup my pile of parts will eventually look like your RSVR. That Duc is beautiful - your job sounds mudane mate & because I'm a stand up guy I'll let you have a few weeks off and help you out by doing the interviewing :D

deacs :thumbup

Bike looks fantastic mate, I see you have a Mivv can on it.......I was listening to some on Youtube vids earlier, as I`m on the hunt for some new cans, and the Mivv sounds awesome.

Welcome to the forum.......:thumbup

Hey, commando style is riding on the street without license plates/tags. Kinda like unprotected ***...a bit risky! :biggrin You would think too that without tags I'd at least keep her at the speed limit...but I didn't! A 911 Turbo flew by me, so I was abliged to catch him. :pirate

So it's not riding your bike without underpants then?

Hi mate, good to hear from vegas. Had a wicked time there 3 years ago. Will return at some point. Some nice roads out there too. Bet you have a good laugh on them.

Hi mate and welcome. You. Ride looks awesome.

We have road tax over here and despite the fact I begrudge paying a single penny to ride on some of the **** roads we have I wouldn't risk riding without any as that's when it will go wrong and my bike will get seized by the police or some geriatric coffin dodger will pull out in front of me and I'll do my best to muilate my own body by avoiding hitting the dodering old fart and then I won't be able to claim anything.:rant

you got some nice road out there:dunno

never been Vegas but it's bloody hot isn't it.

Yes it is super hot here! It frequently hits 110-115 during July and August. It remains at 100 even at 10 PM! Makes riding a bit sticky. I'm not much of an early morning guy on the weekends so it's tough to get out and ride before noon...but at the same time, I'd rather be hot than cold!
