does anyone know if the plug on the throttle position sensor comes apart,on installing the throttle bodies today the centre wire came out!!!!!!!!or can i buy a replacement plug!!!!!!!!!!.

if it's the bit on the wiring loom, doesn't it just go back in? I can't picture whats happened.

the wire has come out of the actual plug that clips onto the sensor,your right its part of the loom!!!!!!well and truly got the hump!!!!do these plugs come apart.

I should imagine so (most plugs come apart - with a little persuasion, you may need to glue it back together if you're heavy handed).

I had same issue on my race bike but chopped plug off spare loom and soldered it back in

I never thought of that one. Quite obvious really.

How did you get on murf?
I've got the loom from my bike if you need one, it's not great but the plugs are fine. £40 posted

I would have taken my time and tried to take the plug apart but it happened the day before a race meeting so had to take the easy route

Don't all cock ups! the amount of rush jobs i've done the night before going to the track are frightening.

I now do all maintance days before.
