Can anyone put me out of suspense?

Just got back from the bike show and bought a set of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa's BSB 190/55 for a great price!

Fisrtly as I not got sight of the bike as packed away in work garage, have i got the right size for the Factory 09 black dream? Forgot the bloody paper i wrote it down on and she was rushing me lol.......She did buy me some lush cold killer stuff though so she not all bad....

Secondly, what they like? Had the dragon supercorsa's as supplied and they were great?

Let a poor welsh fool out of his misery b4 I go to work in the morning.

Cheers all

Tyres: Radial tubeless. Front: 120/70 ZR 17. Rear: 180/55 ZR 17 (alternatives: 190/50 ZR 17 and 190/55).

Can't be arsed going out meself. Just got that off Aprilia.com

Soft... soft soft soft.

They come with a code on them. SC0, SC1, SC2, SC3. The lower the number the softer they are.

Techincally they also made a Supercorsa road. But based on your description i rekon you'll have one of the above.

They're awsome in the dry. Most racers will use them or Racetecs. (Same thing really)

Do you have a pic as the newer ones have very different pattenrs to the older ones.

Well,

I have bought the correct tyre size, lol

They have a very minimalist tyre pattern of just a few strokes through the outer edges of the trye and yes they are very soft and sticky!!!!!

Pretty sure they will be minimal mileage tryes for sure! Not bothered as not planning any long trips yet.

there are no mumbers on them depicting the softness, that I can see anyway.

i'll let u all know how I get on with them, definately ones for the dry though.

Anyone suggest any tyres for long distance, uk- europe and back say 5,000 miles.

Thiers a couple of tyre threads on here Oz lad. My personal faves are Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier, I did 3500 miles on the Rsvr with them before I sold the bike, they did track days Euro trips etc etc easily. The lad who bought my bike is now selling it on Ebay with 4600 miles and claiming they still have loads left. They'll be going on the T next for deffinate.

Pliot Road 2CT, amazing bit of rubber with more grip than most will ever need, following my M8 knee down on his FZ1 convinced me that they had enough grip, another mate has 3,500 on the rear of his 1200 Bandit and it still looks great with a lot of miles to go (and no he isn't known for riding slowly)

I'll definately be fitting a set for our Euro hoon next year

I'm on my first set of 2CT's and think I've already done about 4k with the rear. Pretty certain I'll be getting another set before my charity ride as a few trackdays are needed! :thumbup

I don't just bring the bike out when the sun shines so need top-notch, dual-compound sport-touring tyres :cheers

You did very well there mate, I got about 2200 on the back on the Tuono, but then I do ride hard.

Like to push on meself, dual compound or summat on the Sportmax.
