Hi Everyone, just a wee problem I hope.

I have an 04 RSVR Factory new shape, and have a problem when I pull the clutch in to coast when in first gear.

It happens a couple of times on the rd but more yesterday at Cadwell..
(not on track mind, only when I pull in to come off track on that windy pit lane at the bottom of the mountain...thought I was in second pulled in clutch, and it cut out, was already in first..

2nd time happended when I was rolling up to the the van after a session, clutch in, engine cut out???

Have any of ever expereinced this before...It might be worth mentioning I just changed the oil (15/50 semi synth) and since then it has been worse? Or just a coincidence.

PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE, I DONT WANT TO BLOW MY BIKE UP BY ACCIDENT

Hello, your not on your own mate mine does it too, it gets on yer bloody nerves after a while, are you on map2 if so i was told on mine its somethimg to do with air/co2 and throttle position...:dunno,
i dont think it causes any harm its just anoying...:biggrin

ps, i am pretty sure it can be sorted just by plugging into axone diagnostic machine and a few small tweeks...:devious

yes I think it is on map 2 as there is after market exhausts...I will get her checked in to get looked at and get the throttle bodies done at the same time..
Thanks Carpe Diem.!!

ps it is annoying but nearly bloody dangerous yesterday when a queue of riders behind waiting to get off track...well maybe not dangerous just embarrassing..:jack

Graham it's more than likely to need the throttle bodies to be correctly sychronized. It's a fairly common problem. It needs to go to a good Aprilia dealer who can do this and also to download the latest fueling maps using Axone

Agree - TB sync / CO reset.
Also have your dealer check that you have the latest Map loaded.....
