Hi guys, right little back story ... picked the bike up today, twas amaze it runs sweet all the way through the revs no hiccups nothing, however it does backfire n pop alot on the over-run, thats not my issue though.

the issue is the EFI and triangle warning light come on about 5 seconds after the bike does all its start up proceedures, any ideas ??

like i say the bike starts and runs fine ... anything to worry about??

me n my step dad were talking it over n reckon it might be something like the oxygen sensors in the exhaust ... would explain the popping on the over-run aswell i guess ... you guys are the experts though, whaddya reckon people ??

cheers in advance

They are meant to come on when you first turn on the ignition as part of the diagnostic tests but go out when the bike starts. It's only a problem if they stay on once you are running.

Sorry didn't make that bit clear lol they do stay on when the bike is running, but it runs absolutely fine ... Just a little worrying swing warning lights ... I'm gonna do the diagnostic check in a bit n see what error code I get

It will be a minor error code as anything serious would send the bike into limp mode. Usual cause of a low level efi light is disconnected Lambda or flapper valve in the nose.
